Grenada: My All-Inclusive Honeymoon Adventure (Part 2)

Honeymoon Beach GrenadaHoneymoon with a View

My honeymoon in Grenada did not disappoint. If you like a day at the beach, you will definitely not disagree either. You just wake up in a state of bliss due to the water views from your hotel room in the morning. However, it doesn’t beat the view I get waking up next to my wife every day. Right about now, you are either saying aww or hate how terribly cute I am with my wife. I don’t mind. Things like this get me bonus points, and it’s part of the honeymoon spirit. Once we got to our reserved spot on the beach, the view became even more magnificent. You could see miles of coastline, mountains, rainforest and even the city. Consequently, the view is blocked from time to time. The fog would roll in due to the warm Caribbean weather. You don’t really care though since you’re in paradise.

Beach’n Good Time

There is something that makes a honeymoon and the beach go hand in hand. I love mountains and cities as much as the next guy. However, there is a reason why most of the world lives by the water. The temperature is always right, and there is always a sea breeze bringing in that fresh salty air. Now add in butler service, and you have got a glimpse of what heaven is like. All my wife and I had to do is ring our butler on their cell and anything was made possible. Out of drinks? No worries, another round is on its way. Want a custom wood oven pizza from the other side of the resort? They will deliver it in twenty minutes or less. Sandals just does it right.

Next up, is the water itself. I am game any time the water is 70ºF. Forget all the haters that want to sit in a heated pool drinking their Zimas and Smirnoff Ices. What’s a pool anyways? Pools don’t have exotic fish swimming all around you. Although, my wife would disagree. She thinks fish chase you in order to eat you. It’s safe to say we no longer watch Jaws in our house hold. One of my favorite memories from the beach on my honeymoon has to be sitting in the water and talking with my wife. Well, she was talking, and I was trying to catch a tan. I think one couple might have complained about the blinding glare coming off of my skin.

5-Star Cuisine

Everything is zero calories on your honeymoon. The food at La Source is absolutely top notch and incredibly fresh. Also, there’s a wide variety of choices as well. While I was there, I ate dishes from America, England, France, Japan, Italy, the Mediterranean and of course the Caribbean. It’s really hard to choose a favorite amongst the ten restaurants located in the resort. The main standout is Le Jardinier. I think it’s because French food isn’t as common where I’m from. Caviar, Escargot and a glass of red wine definitely started the dinner off right. The other dishes were fantastic as well. I just don’t remember the French names for them. On top of that, I ate all of the sashimi, pasta, steak and dessert my body could handle. Most of all, the food is available 24 hours a day. You never have to worry about missing a meal.
